Your own Klapkot at Kievit or Grote Stern | SPRING 2026

From spring 2026, it could come true: your own Klapkot by the sea, on the Klepperstee. Klapkot.nl develops and builds (vacation) homes with an innovative approach to space, mobility, and sustainability. Designed and manufactured in the Netherlands. Compact in size, but surprisingly spacious thanks to its clever layout. In the spring of 2026, these unique cabins will be built at four locations in the park, namely at Kievit 226, Kievit 242, Grote Stern 620, and Grote Stern 616. 

Klapkot is for people who are looking for more luxury and comfort than a standard RV or caravan can offer. For people who find that the existing range does not match their interior design taste or the desired layout and living space. 

Appearance
This Klapkot was specially designed for the Klepperstee. The facades are fully finished with thermally modified Scandinavian wood: durable, sturdy, and low-maintenance. The Klapkot has many windows for a strong outdoor feeling. The window frames are made of solid Western Red Cedar wood with HR++ glazing. 

Layout
The L-shape creates approximately 24.0 m² of living space, ideal for several persons who want to enjoy a stay together. In addition, there is a storage room in the same style as the Klapkot, measuring 2.5 × 2.5 meters.
The Klapkot has a comfortable box bed (accessible from two sides for two persons) and a bunk bed. Suitable for a total of four persons. No narrow staircases or separate sleeping areas, but everything on one level. The look is warm and modern, with wood finishes, rounded corners, and vinyl flooring in a herringbone pattern. The Klapkot is delivered fully equipped, including fixed lighting, roller blinds, and curtains, making it ready for use immediately.  

At Klapkot, you cook just like you do at home. The kitchen features a Terracotta Technical Matt worktop: stylish, scratch-resistant, and heat-resistant. You will find a refrigerator, faucet, sink, four-burner induction hob, and extractor hood here. 

The bathroom is fully equipped with a full-size shower, toilet, sink, and a mirror with integrated infrared heating. The walls have a calm, timeless concrete look, and the bathroom is connected to water and sewerage.  The Klapkot is comfortable in every season. Underfloor heating provides warmth in winter, while split air conditioning can both cool and heat. We love insects at Klapkot, but we prefer they stay outside. That is why all windows in the kitchen and box bed are fitted with insect screens. 

Yard
The abundance of glass creates a seamless transition between indoors and outdoors. And that really comes into its own in the beautiful park. Your Klapkot has its own deck measuring no less than 25 m², made from Bilinga wood. Would you like to extend the deck with a veranda? We are happy to build one on request. The deck has a favorable sun exposure for all lots.
